JCB Photography was at Harewood Hill over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd August 2025 for the Harewood Speed Hillclimb Championship. This time it was the Yorkshire Speed Hillclimb on the Saturday and Montague Burton Hillclimb on the Sunday. Joining the Harewood Championship competitors were a large group of Caterham competitors taking part in the Northampton Motorsport Caterham and Lotus 7 Club Speed Championship and Round 5 of the FASSI Classic Championship.
2024 Harewood Speed Hillclimb Champion, Adam Riley beat his own class record in 1A for Series Production Road Cars up to and including 1400cc.
In Class 1 D for Series Production Road Cars over 2000cc and 4 wheel drive, James Hudson driving his Subura Impreza. This class record had stood since September 2018 and was previously set by Jonathan Mounsey driving a Mitsubishi Evo 6.
In Class 2A Road Cars, Specialist Production Kit, Replica and Space-framed cars up to and including 1700cc. Henry Moorhouse driving his Honda power Westfield, also beat his own class record.
Adam Riley driving his VW Up is still leading the 2025 Harewood Speed Hillclimb Championship. Second is Henry Moorhouse driving his Honda powered Westfield and third is Mark Teale driving his Suzuki Swift
In the FTD Award Series Mark Hemingway driving his Force TA leads from Dave Tatham driving his DJ Firehawk in second place and John Prickett driving his Radical RP6 is in third place.
The next event at Harewood Hill will be Summer Championship Hillclimb event on 24th August 2025 when not only will it be Harewood competitors in four wheels but two and three wheels, with the motorcycles and sidecars.
